Harding Academy Advent 2017

It’s easy to get wrapped up in the busyness, the glitter, the gifts, and the schedules of the Christmas season. If we aren’t careful, December 26 hits and we realize that we missed it. Jesus comes, our Savior is born, and we are still digging our way out of wrapping paper and gingerbread men. The word advent means “arrival” and this season is all about anticipating the arrival of the Messiah.

The anticipation of and longing for the birth of Christ can be traced back to the beginning… the very beginning. From the moment sin entered the world, God has been on a rescue mission to send his Son and restore that which was broken. This story, The Story, is a beautiful reminder of God’s amazingly extravagant love for us!

If your family doesn’t already have an advent tradition, we hope this will be a helpful guide to use for the twelve days leading up to Christmas Day (December 14–25). Click on the image below.
