The Harding Academy choruses celebrated the Christmas season with two concerts in December. The A Cappella chorus had their annual concert at the Peabody on December 2 and their annual All Choruses Christmas concert was Monday, December 7 in Harding’s O. O. Emmons Auditorium.

A Cappella at the Peabody

On Wednesday, December 2, our A Cappella chorus ushered in the holiday season with their annual concert in the lobby of The Peabody. The lobby was filled with family members, friends and guests gathered around the magnificent Christmas tree to hear the concert that began as soon as the famous Peabody ducks made their march to the fountain. The group sang Carol of the Bells; Hush My Heart with Silent Night; Still, Still, Still; Infant Holy; O Magnum Mysterium; Fanfare for Christmas; Go Tell it on the Mountain and a funny little non Christmas song, Nyon Nyon. They ended the concert with their traditional My God and I and The Lord Bless You and Keep You.
