We love our book buddies from Opus!
This group of volunteers from just across the street at Opus, a senior living community, visits once a month throughout the school year. During their visits, students have the opportunity to listen to stories read by their book buddies, while our beginning readers get the chance to share a story with their new friends. We are excited to build these meaningful connections through the joy of reading! Click here for more pictures.
