Harding Academy lower school presents Carlo Collodi’s The Adventures of Pinocchio, under the direction of Jennifer Aycock. In a very different adaption of the Italian classic, the cast and audience will travel from the depths of the sea to help Pinocchio overcome his temptations and fears, things that can only be fought with the help of true friends found along the way. Villains, fairies, and crickets will bring to life this timeless tale. Bring a friend and experience an adventure in truth you will never forget. The production will take place on September 24 and 25 at 7:00 p.m. and September 26 at 2:00 p.m. at Harding Academy, 1100 Cherry Road. For more information, call 767-4494.
The Class of 2021 received Harding Bibles on September 18. This is one of our most treasured moments. A Harding Academy alumnus and teacher had a dream—a dream to start each seventh grader on a path that would lead not to college or a successful career but to a lifetime as a disciple of Jesus Christ. What better way to bless the youngest students on the Cherry Road campus than to place in each child’s hand a copy of the Word of God?
