Alumnus John Lane to Perform at University of Memphis Harris Concert Hall

Awesome Alumni Alert! Alumnus John Lane (’96) will perform a concert of flute favorites Wednesday, March 18, 7:00 p.m. at the University of Memphis Harris Concert Hall. John is a widely respected flutist based in New Jersey and performs as the principal flutist of Sinfonietta Nova. This free concert is a wonderful opportunity to hear him in Memphis.
John previously played principal flute as a substitute for the Houston Grand Opera, for the São Paulo State Symphony Orchestra in Brazil, and for an orchestra in Monterrey, Mexico. He has also performed with Garden State Symphonic Band and served as an instructor and performer with The Fifes and Drums of the Old Barracks. He has taught flute at Westminster Conservatory of Music since Fall 2006.
